The MCVI
Research Foundation seeks to fulfill its mission through continued research in
cardiovascular, thoracic, and peripheral vascular diseases unique to the
Middle Georgia area with hope of improving patient care for this region.

Research Mission
- Research into the causes and treatments of heart disease.
- Better understanding of the role of renal insufficiency in our
geographic area as it relates to cardiovascular disease.
- Increase medical understanding of vascular disease and study new
treatment modality.
- Provide additional training in the area of cardiovascular medicine.
- Join the efforts of research and science together with the art of
healing to promote improved care in the treatment cardiovascular disease
in the Middle Georgia area
